Life Tree Care Center recognizes the growing need for high-quality skilled nursing care in Northern Virginia. As part of its long-term vision, the Center plans to develop a state-of-the-art Nursing Facility that provides comprehensive care and support to seniors with complex medical needs. This facility will be an integral part of Life Tree's continuum of care, offering a seamless transition for residents who require a higher level of medical attention.

The Nursing Facility will be guided by the following vision and objectives:
Provide Skilled Nursing Care: To offer 24-hour skilled nursing care from registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) to residents with complex medical conditions or those requiring post-acute care.
Promote Healing and Recovery: To create a therapeutic environment that promotes healing, recovery, and the restoration of functional abilities.
Maintain Dignity and Quality of Life: To uphold the dignity and quality of life of each resident, providing personalized care that respects individual preferences and needs.
Integrate with Existing Services: To seamlessly integrate the Nursing Facility with Life Tree's existing services, creating a continuum of care that allows residents to transition smoothly between different levels of support.
Embrace Innovation and Technology: To utilize innovative technologies and best practices to enhance care delivery, improve resident outcomes, and create a more efficient and connected environment.
Facility Features and Services (Planned)
Private and Semi-Private Rooms: Offer comfortable and well-appointed private and semi-private rooms, each equipped with essential amenities, including adjustable beds, bedside tables, and private bathrooms.
Specialized Care Units: Develop specialized care units for residents with specific needs, such as:
Memory Care Unit: A secure and specialized unit for residents with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia, featuring a calming environment, specialized programming, and trained staff.
Rehabilitation Unit: A dedicated unit for residents recovering from surgery, illness, or injury, providing intensive rehabilitation therapies and support.
Therapeutic and Social Spaces: Create therapeutic and social spaces that promote resident engagement and well-being, including:
Therapy Gym: A well-equipped therapy gym for physical, occupational, and speech therapy sessions.
Activity Rooms: Dedicated spaces for recreational activities, social gatherings, and group therapies.
Common Areas: Comfortable lounges and dining areas for relaxation and social interaction.

24-Hour Nursing Care: Provide 24-hour skilled nursing care from registered nurses and licensed practical nurses, ensuring continuous monitoring, medication management, and timely interventions.

Wound Care: Specialized wound care for residents with pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, or other skin conditions.
